تولت الهيأة العليا للاتصال السمعي البصري رئاسة شبكة الهيئات الإفريقية لتقنين الاتصال للفترة 2022-2024، وذلك بعد انتخابها شهر دجنبر 2018 نائبة لرئيس هذه الشبكة القارية التي تضم 36 عضوا.
وجرى حفل تبادل الرئاسة بين جوزيف شيبونكينغ، رئيس المجلس الوطني للاتصال الكاميروني والرئيس السابق لشبكة الهيئات الإفريقية لتقنين الاتصال، ولطيفة أخرباش، رئيسة الهيأة العليا، بحضور رؤساء وفود هيئات التقنين الـ18 المشاركة في المؤتمر العاشر لهيئات تقنين الاتصال بإفريقيا، الذي انعقد بمراكش من 21 إلى 23 شتنبر 2022.
وخلال هذا المؤتمر التنظيمي الهام الذي يشكل انطلاقة جديدة لأنشطة الشبكة الإفريقية بعد توقفها الاضطراري جراء جائحة كوفيد 19، تم انتخاب روني بورجوان رئيس الهيأة العليا للاتصال السمعي البصري لكوت ديفوار، نائبا لرئيسة الشبكة للفترة 2022 – 2024.
