أعلنت الحكومة البرتغالية، اليوم الخميس، أنها ستلغي إلزامية وضع الكمامة في وسائل النقل العام، وهو إجراء مطبق منذ سنتين لمكافحة وباء “كوفيد-19″، وذلك بفضل التطور الإيجابي للوضع الصحي في البلاد.
وقالت وزيرة الصحة البرتغالية، مارتا تيميدو، خلال مؤتمر صحافي في ختام جلسة لمجلس الوزراء، “نظرا للتطور الإيجابي للوباء والاتجاه المستقر في عدد الحالات الجديدة لكوفيد-19، تقرر وقف وضع الكمامات في وسائل النقل”.
وسيدخل هذا القرار حيز التنفيذ بعد إصداره من قبل رئيس الجمهورية مارسيلو ريبيلو دي سوزا.
ويشمل هذا القرار أيضا الطائرات وسيارات الأجرة، وكذا الصيدليات حيث لا تزال الكمامة إلزامية، فيما ستظل الكمامة إجبارية في المستشفيات ودور رعاية المسنين.
وأوضحت المسؤولة البرتغالية أن الكمامة ستكون إلزامية الآن فقط في “المراكز الصحية التي يتردد عليها الأشخاص الأكثر ضعفا”، مشيرة من جهة أخرى إلى أن “الوفيات المرتبطة بكوفيد-19 تتجه نحو الانخفاض منذ نهاية يوليوز الماضي”.
ووفقا لآخر تقرير أسبوعي صادر عن مديرية الصحة العامة، فقد انخفض عدد حالات الإصابة الجديدة بفيروس كورونا بمعدل 148 حالة لكل 100 ألف نسمة خلال سبعة أيام، كما تعتبر البرتغال من بين الدول التي لديها أعلى معدلات التطعيم في العالم.
