الولايات المتحدة تلغي إلزامية اختبار الكشف عن كورونا للوافدين عبر الجو
واشنطن 10 يونيو 2022 (ومع)- أعلنت إدارة الرئسي الامريكي جو بايدن، اليوم الجمعة، أنها ستلغي إلزامية اختبار الكشف عن كورونا بالنسبة للوافدين جوا، وذلك اعتبارا من الأحد 12 يونيو الجاري.
وحسب وسائل إعلام أمريكية، فقد أكد مساعد المتحدث باسم البيت الأبيض كيفين مونزو، عبر موقع “تويتر”، أن الولايات المتحدة “ستضع حدا لإلزامية اختبار الكشف عن كوفيد-19 بالنسبة للمسافرين القادمين عبر الجو”.
ونقلت عن مسؤول في الإدارة، أن إلغاء شرط اختبار كورونا، الذي تم فرضه العام الماضي على الرحلات الدولية، تقرر بعد تقدير السلطات الصحية الأمريكية بعدم ضروريته بناء على المعطيات العلمية المتوفرة، مضيفة أن وكالة الصحة ستقوم بتقييم هذا القرار كل 90 يوما.
وأثار الإبقاء على شرط الاختبار انتقادات من صناعة السياحة وشركات الطيران، مما ضغط على إدارة بايدن لتخفيف القيود الصحية على الدخول إلى الولايات المتحدة.
وفي أبريل الماضي، أوقفت إدارة أمن النقل طلب ارتداء الأقنعة في الطائرات والقطارات وغيرها من وسائل النقل العام، بعد أن ألغى قاض اتحادي هذا الالتزام الذي قررته الحكومة الأمريكية.
