دعا المستشار البرلماني كمال أيت ميك شباب العالم إلى إجراء تغيرات سلوكية فردية وجماعية في أنماط حياتهم وذلك للإسهام في الحد من تداعيات التغيرات المناخية المتنامية.
وأكد المستشار كمال أيت ميك، خلال المناقشة العامة في الجمعية 144 للاتحاد البرلماني الدولي المنعقدة ببالي بأندونيسيا حول موضوع: “الوصول إلى الدرجة صفر من الانبعاثات: حشد البرلمانات للعمل بشأن تغير المناخ”، على أهمية الإسراع في إنجاز انتقال طاقي شامل ومتنوع بحلول عام 2030 يعطي الأولوية للنجاعة الطاقية وللطاقة المستدامة.
وحث المستشار كمال أيت ميك، عضو منتدى البرلمانيين الشباب بالاتحاد البرلماني الدولي، البلدان والمؤسسات ذات الصلة على إشراك الشباب في جميع عمليات صنع القرار المتعلقة بتغير المناخ وتخطيط السياسات المناخية وتنفيذها وتقييمها على المستويات المتعددة الأطراف وكذا على المستويات الوطنية والمحلية.
ودعا المستشار ٱيت ميك الحكومات إلى ضمان تعليم شامل ودامج حول التغيرات المناخية وأيضا محو الأمية المناخية وذلك وفقاً للأجندات الدولية.
