أعلنت وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الاسلامية أن القرار الصادر عن اللجنة الملكية للحج في اجتماعها الاستثنائي المنعقد في 23 يونيو 2020 المتعلق بالاحتفاظ بنتائج عملية القرعة (لوائح المنتقين ولوائح الانتظار بالنسبة للتنظيم الرسمي وتنظيم وكالات الأسفار السياحية) الخاصة بموسم حج 1441هـ، سيبقى ساري المفعول لاعتماده خلال موسم الحج المقبل.
وأوضح بلاغ للوزارة أنها تلقت اتصالا اليوم السبت من وزارة الحج السعودية، أبلغتها من خلاله أنه نظرا لما يشهده العالم أجمع من استمرار تطورات جائحة فيروس كورونا المستجد وظهور تحورات جديدة له، واستجابة للتحذيرات الصادرة من منظمة الصحة العالمية حول خطورة ازدياد تفشي العدوى والإصابة في التجمعات البشرية، وامتثالا لمقاصد الشريعة الإسلامية في حفظ النفس البشرية، قررت السلطات السعودية الاقتصار على إتاحة أداء مناسك الحج لهذا العام 1442هـ لمن هم داخل المملكة من مختلف الجنسيات.
