لقي 12 شخصا مصرعهم، وأصيب 2162 آخرون بجروح، إصابات 77 منهم بليغة، في 1603 حوادث سير داخل المناطق الحضرية خلال الأسبوع الممتد من 24 إلى 30 ماي 2021.
وعزا بلاغ للمديرية العامة للأمن الوطني الأسباب الرئيسية المؤدية إلى وقوع هذه الحوادث، حسب ترتيبها، إلى عدم انتباه السائقين، وعدم احترام حق الأسبقية، والسرعة المفرطة، وعدم انتباه الراجلين، وعدم ترك مسافة الأمان، وتغيير الاتجاه بدون إشارة، وعدم التحكم، وتغيير الاتجاه غير المسموح به، وعدم احترام الوقوف المفروض بعلامة قف، والسير في يسار الطريق، وعدم احترام الوقوف المفروض بضوء التشوير الأحمر، والسياقة في حالة سكر، والسير في الاتجاه الممنوع، والتجاوز المعيب.
وبخصوص عمليات المراقبة والزجر في ميدان السير والجولان، أفاد البلاغ بأن مصالح الأمن تمكنت من تسجيل 40 ألفا و526 مخالفة، وإنجاز 7216 محضرا أحيلت على النيابة العامة، واستخلاص 33 ألفا و310 غرامة صلحية.
وأشار البلاغ إلى أن المبلغ المتحصل عليه من هذه المخالفات بلغ 6 ملايين و872 ألفا و700 درهما، فيما بلغ عدد العربات الموضوعة بالمحجز البلدي 3970 عربة، وعدد الوثائق المسحوبة 7216 وثيقة، وعدد المركبات التي خضعت للتوقيف 220 مركبة.
