أبلغ ملك البحرين حمد بن عیسى آل خلیفة، اليوم الخميس الملك محمد السادس بقرار بلاده بفتح قنصلیة عامة لھا بمدینة العیون. وذلك في اتصال هاتفي جرى بين القائدين وفق ما نقله بلاغ لليوان الملكي .الملك حمد بن عیسى آل خلیفة، نوه خلال الاتصال بالقرارات التي أمر بھا جلالة الملك محمدالسادس، نصره الله، بمنطقة الكركارات بالصحراء المغربیة،والتي أفضت إلى تدخل حاسم وناجع لحفظ الأمن والاستقرار بھذا الجزء من التراب المغربي، وإلى ضمان انسیاب طبیعي وآمن لحركة الأشخاص والبضائع بین المغرب وموريتانيا.وقد عبر جلالة الملك محمد السادس، نصره الله، لأخیه جلالة الملك حمد بن عیسى آل خلیفة، عن شكره العمیق لھذا القرار الھام الذي یعكس التضامن الموصول بین البلدین الشقیقین، وعن تقدیره البالغ للمواقف الثابتة لمملكة البحرین الشقیقة في دعم السیادة الترابیة والوحدة الوطنیة للملكة المغربیة.و یندرج ھذا الاتصال في إطار ما یربط العاھلین الكریمین وأسرتیھما الملكیتین من علاقات أخویة صادقة وتقدیر متبادل، كما یعكس نھج التشاور والتنسیق الدائم بین القائدین،وما یجمع البلدین الشقیقین من تعاون مثمر وتضامن موصول.
