افتتح رئيس الحكومة، الدكتور سعد الدين العثماني، بالرباط الملتقى الدولي بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للمدن لسنة 2020، المنعقد تحت شعار “أفضل مدينة، لأفضل حياة: تثمين مجتمعاتنا ومدننا”.
وأوضح رئيس الحكومة، الدكتور سعد الدين العثماني، أن المنظومة الحضرية لبلادنا كانت حاضرة في قلب تحديات مواجهة جائحة كورونا “كوفيد-19″، وأن الرهان حاليا يتجلى في التفكير الجماعي في الرفع من قدرات المدن، والتجمعات البشرية بشكل عام، لجعلها أكثر صمودا في مواجهة الكوارث الطبيعية وتداعيات الأزمات الصحية.
ولفت رئيس الحكومة، خلال افتتاحه، يوم الأربعاء 4 نونبر 2020، الندوة المنظمة بمناسبة اليوم العالمي للمدن لسنة 2020 المنعقد تحت شعار “أفضل مدينة، لأفضل حياة: تثمين مجتمعاتنا ومدننا”، الانتباه إلى التحديات المتزايدة الناتجة عن التمدن وما يترتب عنها من مشاكل بيئية، وإشكالات مجتمعية ونفسية للمواطنين الذين يعيشون في المدن.
واعتبر رئيس الحكومة أن التحدي الأساسي يكمن في القدرة على إبداع أنماط جديدة للتصور العمراني لمدن الغد، تستطيع التكيف مع المتغيرات الظرفية، وتنتج الثروات، وتضمن فرص الشغل، لتخفيف آثار الجائحة على المدن، باعتماد سياسة تعميرية ناجعة لمحاربة الهشاشة والإقصاء الاجتماعيين اللذان قد يتسبب فيها تمدد المدن.
واستعرض رئيس الحكومة، في هذه الندوة الدولية التي تابعها مشاركون عن قرب وعن بعد، تجربة المغرب في مجال بناء نموذجه التنموي وفي مجال مواجهته للتحديات الجديدة الرامية إلى التأقلم مع الظرفية الاستثنائية وغير المسبوقة لجائحة وباء كوفيد 19 الحالية، إذ اتخذت بلادنا بتوجيهات ملكية سامية، يقول الرئيس، “مجموعة من الإجراءات والتدابير من خلال إرساء المحاور الكبرى لخطة طموحة للإنعاش الاقتصادي ستمكن القطاعات الإنتاجية من استعادة عافيتها، والرفع من قدرتها على توفير مناصب الشغل، والحفاظ على مصادر الدخل”..
